On Saturday, August 23rd 2025, our Executive Committe Member Mr. Frank Le and SingCham Secretariat team joined the Diplomatic Friendship Walk 2025, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of External Relations to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of Vietnam’s Diplomacy and the 50th Anniversary of the Department of Foreign Affairs of HCMC.
The event gathered city leaders, consular representatives, international organizations, and the foreign business community in a meaningful 2.5 km walk through the heart of HCMC. We were delighted to meet H.E. Mr. Pang Te Cheng, Consul General of Singapore in HCMC, during this special occasion.
Addressing the event, H.E. Mr. Phạm Đức Diệm, Acting Director of the HCMC Department of External Relations, highlighted that the walk was not only about promoting healthy lifestyles but also a tribute to Vietnam’s proud diplomatic legacy and its growing international standing.
SingCham is honored to have taken part in this celebration of friendship, diplomacy, and community spirit.
