Last night (Tuesday, August 19th 2025), SingCham Vietnam was honored to be represented by our President, Mr. Tan Quee Peng (Quee Peng Tan), at the official reception hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (1945–2025).
The event was graced by the presence of H.E. Mr. Nguyễn Văn Được, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, together with city leaders, consular representatives, international organizations, and the foreign business community in Ho Chi Minh City, including H.E. Mr. Pang Te Cheng, Consul General of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City, and Mr. Tay Keng Chong, Senior Vice President of Malaysia Business Chamber Vietnam.
Held at the historic Reunification Hall, the reception was a memorable evening of friendship, diplomacy, and cultural exchange – reflecting Vietnam’s remarkable journey and strong international partnerships.
