DESCRIPTION:Expressions such as “Do not worry, she’s strong enough to handle this.” and “She is resilient and requires no protection” are familiar to our experiences, yet they are not uniformly accurate. In many instances, women are motivated to demonstrate strength as they believe it is their only option to move forward. However, there is still an underlying need for emotional support – someone they can reach out to and lean on.\nOn the occasion of International Women’s Day (March 8th), the “Women In Business” Sub-Committee hosts this event to highlight the experiences of women who shoulder many responsibilities and are compelled to bear huge loads.
